In today’s adventures : hiking. (period)
Oceania & Australia travel
Near Franz Jozef Glazier Today: We trade the sea for the mountains, get attacked by sandflies and are remembered that 16 degrees is actually not so warm…
In today’s adventures: the apples story, the Motueka valley and its police officers, and we conclude with a big pile of pancakes.
Today, our New Zealand adventures bring us in the Abel Tasman National Park. We travel by kayak to unseen beauty.
The day today started early. One can not leave Kaikoura without trying to see a whale up close. That is, unless the day is stormy and one is suffering from seasickness.
Today, our New Zealand travel gets us on a quest to Wildlife. We drive to Kaikoura, were the whale-hunters have changed their living to whale-watchers.
This weekend we went to Wellington, and switched between the two islands in New Zealand. We know why it’s called a windy place here now…
The day we meet our next New Zealand Mountain: mount Taranaki, or if you prefer: mount Egmont.
After we conquered Mordor yesterday, we had a more relaxed day today, that ended with shining light, and Vicky not feeling too well
On January 12th, we had a great day of fun walking, climbing and descending the Tongariro Crossing. The scenes on Mordor, in Lord of The Rings, are filmed here.
