The journey to Essaouira from Ourika featured rainy landscapes and nostalgic vintage Peugeots. Arriving at the vibrant harbor, we enjoyed local culture, including a fish market and lighthearted disputes over balloons.

The day from Seljavellir to Egilsstaðir unfolded slowly amid gray skies, marked by coffee, postcards, and scenic stops. With tranquility, local stories, and the charm of remote Icelandic landscapes despite the persistent dreary weather.
A day in in Iceland with gray skies and drizzle, leading to cozy moments of pancakes and coffee. We explored breathtaking landscapes, including Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and Diamond Beach.
We awoke to the gentle silence of the countryside and the unsettling blink of a partially charged camera. The power went out at Efra-Sel sometime during the night, robbing our electronics of their dreams of waking up completely refreshed.
On the second day in Iceland, we drove the Golden Circle, witnessing shifting tectonic plates at Þingvellir National Park, the erupting Strokkur geyser, and the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. We also visited the colorful Kerið Crater before ending the day at Efra-Sel Hostel.
