Boarding Today! Travel with us
Boarding Today: Travel and Photography
Boarding Today, an initiative by Koen Blanquart, bring back experiences and images from unique journeys. In the magazine, we report on where we have been. At the same time, we seek to take you along on our next trips. The magazine groups the travel stories and the future travels, or you can start dreaming.
For organizations to maintain their effort in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), it’s imperative that stakeholders are aware of the impact of these programs. Boarding Today supports these activities by documenting the Corporate Impact!
Boarding Today: Corporate Impact
While traveling, Koen collaborates with various organizations when he seeks to document the impact of their corporate citizenship. Or when his travels inspire companies to act different (and more responsible) in the planet we live on. Koen tries to work as much with the team of the company to create art, awareness and great memories for all involved that can help an organization to take their CSR to the next level. We try to be a part of a larger initiative but have a lasting effect.
Corporate Social Responsibility, Digital Nomads and doing business abroad are just a few of the elements in Koen’s speaking speeches.
When traveling, we try to make an impact where we can in the fight against debris. Both on land as in the oceans, we start to see more and more plastic being discarded. The USA consumes 500 million plastic straws per day. In their effort to mimic the behavior Hollywood sells them, people of Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mongolia and many other countries seem to try to beat the USA in their plastic pollution efforts. We try to create actions and education so we stop this plastic flood!
Boarding Today: Train Travel
We LOVE traveling by trains. In the recent past, Koen traveled by railway the Trans Siberian and Trans Mongolian Railway, rode across Vietnam and from Thailand to Singapore. We are currently planning more train travel in Eastern Europe as well as in Africa. So stay tuned for the updates, or contact us when you’d like to join us on a next journey!

We love to travel. A location independent life includes the opportunity to find (temporary) bases where working and traveling is combined. Some call it workation, other say it’s holidork. We call it life.
And when we travel, we like to tell you about our adventures. To get you dreaming about new locations, to make it feel you’re virtually with us. But also to understand what resonates, where we can take you in real life one day!
We work most of the time when we’re on the road. And we are traveling often when we are doing ‘our job’. Our home is where we can plug in our laptop. So we are not only living all the experiences we keep on reporting about, it also creates a ton of insight into the Digital Nomad lifestyle. We’re happy to share these observations here with you, and in the documentary that we’re preparing.
Koen Blanquart is a startup veteran whose mission is to help companies tap into the soul of corporate social responsibility. Through artistic projects around the world, such as photo and video documentaries, he helps companies highlight their CSR efforts and proactively show how their actions support their values. Whether he’s photographing grizzly bears in remote Alaska, riding on the trans-Siberian railway, or crewing a small sailboat in Antarctica, he brings an eco-sensibility to his work, lives rough and captures pristine footage for clients’ projects. If you like to stay updated, there is the newsletter and facebook page. We operate independently, in the creation of this blog, our documentaries and books, and in our eco-ventures. Small donations, even a $1, can make the difference! Click here to see how you can make the difference.
